Curricular Structure

The Master's Degree Course in Nutrition and Health is offered in order to meet the specificities of its lines of research. The disciplines are offered in order to address multi and interdisciplinary aspects, maintaining the commitment to the growth and development of the area of nutrition and food. The disciplines will be offered during the four academic semesters, according to the professor's availability. Completion of the Master's Degree in Nutrition and Health will be achieved by completing 26 (twenty-six) credits in subjects and teaching internship, of which 04 (four) credits in mandatory subject, 20 (twenty) credits in optional subjects and 02 (two) credits in teaching internship.

Therefore, the offer of subjects is organized as follows:
Mandatory subject: 4 credits (1st semester) - Research Methodology in Nutrition and Health: 60 hours (4 credits).
Optional subjects: 20 credits.
In addition to subject´s credits, the Teaching Internship is mandatory and can be completed from the second semester onwards. It is an academic activity with a workload of 30 hours, and grants 2 credits.
